13mm Piston Flaps (Top of Piston) (8)

These thin plastic flaps were are designed for use in Team Associated 13mm shocks, but may also work in other brands. 

They can be used along with an extra, small hole in your piston in order to independently control compression and rebound damping. Adding the flap above a small hole speeds up rebound damping, which can be useful in bumpy and low traction conditions. Adding the flap below the piston speeds up only compression damping, which can be ideal for use on flat high grip surfaces to keep your car sucked into the track.

We recommend starting with a 1.2mm hole, the disk is then bolted to the piston with the included small washer under the screw, once bolted down cut the flap so it is only covering the extra, small hole.
